This book is Gorgeous... If you are looking for a great book on Gray Scale The color pops when added to the page... The paper is a little thin but I have no problem so far with it because you are not applying a lot of pressure to obtain color.. They have many different pics of birds... One thing I would suggest and it would be so helpful is a table of contents naming the birds so you don't make a mistake when coloring in... I am using artist choice colored pencils which are great with this book... The book has 2 test pages in back so you can test your colors before you apply them to your pictures... all in all a great buy... one mistake I made on a photo is it is apparently a cedar waxwing bird and I thought it might be a cardinal or a blue jay... I went with cardinal and then discovered it was a cedar waxwing table of contents would be of great value... I probably should have done a little more research before I colored on the page
